Apple Q1 2014 Earnings Breaks Record High

Apple held its traditional Conference Call yesterday and the results are encouraging. Apple breaks the record making $13.1 billion USD in profit and $57.6 billion in revenue. Last quarter's revenue was $54.5 billion USD.

Apple sold in this quarter a record of 51 million iPhones (56% of total revenue) from only 47.8 million iPhones from the same period last year. Apple broke another record selling 26 million iPads (20% of total revenue) from 22.86 million iPads last year. Apple also sold 4.8 million Macs (11% of total revenue) from 4.06 million Macs last year.

On another hand, iPod sales, which only has 2% in total revenue, dropped by more than half since last year. iPod sales decreased for 52% in units since last year. iTunes Store occupies 8% of the total revenue this year.
