With the beginning of the mobile world congress brings in fresh gadgets to liven up the market. With the Xperia Z1 facing it's 6 month birthday soon enough, Sony realized it would have a need for a new flagship smartphone to compete against the likes of Samsung, LG etc. Hot off it's wraps is the anticipated and severely leaked Xperia Z2

So obviously, the first question is going to be 'Why would I want this phone since the Z1 just came out 6 months ago?" Well, at glance, the difference is not noticeable, therefore forcing Sony to make the slogan of the Z2 "Details make the difference", therefore stating that this is a refinement of the Xperia Z1. The screen is still in it's Full HD state with Sony Bravia technologies currently found in the Z1 but with one new addition called Live Color LED which will further enhance the color range of the phone's screen, offering more natural colors. The improvement that we have all been waiting for on Sony's screen is also here, Sony did

not use a TFT display for this one, instead they opted for and IPS panel, which will offer a wider viewing angles. The screen size has also been increased to 5.2 inch despite retaining nearly the same body size of the Z1. The camera retains the 20.70 megapixels with Sony G lens aspects but this time, due to the updated hardware, the Z2 has added 4K recording support, therefore, as Sony says, "Future proofing your memories" when most of us don't own 4K displays. The updated hardware include a slightly faster 2.3GHz processor compared with the previous 2.2GHz, 3Gb ram and an extra 200mAh of battery life to further enhance the Z2's power. The earphone jack now also supports noise cancelling headphones without drawing power out of your headphones. Sadly, this feature only works with the ones that come with the Z2. The Z2 will launch this March with 4.4.2 Kitkat.
