Nokia finally announced the long-anticipated Android smartphones Nokia X, X+ and XL.
The Nokia X runs on a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4" 800x480 display, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (supports external miroSD card), a 3MP camera and 1500 mAh battery. The X+ doesn't have significant changes but the faster 768MB RAM.
The software is built on top of Android Open Source Project but has quite significant changes. The user interface is built to have the similar tile home page. Moreover, users must use Nokia's own Nokia Store to download apps. Google Play is unusable with Nokia's software.
The Nokia XL has a larger 5" WVGA IPS display with a 5MP camera and 2MP front camera and runs with 768MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The Nokia X sells for 89 Euro starting from today in select countries. The X+ will be released soon in the second quarter for 99 Euro and the XL sells ofr 109 Euro.
